About

Hotel twentysix

Tucked into the cobbled streets of Gamla Väster, Malmö's oldest neighbourhood, the hotel sits a hundred metres from the central station and a short walk from Lilla Torg. Guests step into a part of the city that has kept its rhythm — small streets of independent boutiques, neighbourhood restaurants, and the slow water of the harbour just beyond. Form/Design Center is a few minutes away, and Copenhagen sits half an hour across the bridge.

The house is composed of twenty-six rooms, suites and apartments, each individually furnished and no two alike. Every room is built around a DUX bed from Skåne and finished with Danish design classics from Fritz Hansen and Arne Jacobsen. The Small Double rooms are made for shorter city stays, while the apartments offer space and a quiet view of the courtyard for longer ones. A hidden meeting room sits behind a bookshelf on the ground floor. Check-in is digital. Reception is human, whenever you need it.

Three makers. Pieces built to stay.

Chosen with care

Duxiana

Furniture & Beds

Duxiana

A bed shouldn't be remembered. It should make the rest of your stay possible. DUX has been making beds in southern Sweden since 1926 — the same trust this hotel has rested its sheets on. Plenty of our rooms, our suites, are built around one.

Aurnia

Softness

Aurnia

A small Copenhagen house with a long-term mind. Aurnia works in wool, leather and natural fabric, and designs as if the piece will be used by someone else in fifty years. We chose them because nothing in our rooms is meant to be temporary.

Arne Jacobsen

Chairs

Arne Jacobsen

Some pieces don't need an introduction. The Egg, the Swan, and others by Arne Jacobsen at Fritz Hansen — chairs shaped in Scandinavia more than 60 years ago, still made today, still still-life standards. They sit naturally in rooms designed to last.
